colorful birthday card

Project 6A https://pointfuleducation.coursearc.com/files/6715/5443/5618/birthday.png

In this assignment, you will apply all that you have learned about the project setup and the Photoshop interface to perform the following tasks. You will need to use Photoshop to perform these tasks. In some of these tasks, you may need to take screenshots and label them as well. You can save the screenshots as images or add them all to a Word/PPT document.

  1. Open the attached image (birthday.png(opens in a new tab)) in Photoshop. Use it to create a custom color swatch and save it. (Take a screenshot of your saved custom swatch.)

  2. Create a gradient using lighter versions of three colors from your custom color swatch. Make sure you save the new gradient. (Take a screenshot once this task is complete.)

  3. Create a new brush style of your choosing and save it. Use the brush to decorate your card. (Take a screenshot once this task is complete.)

  4. Add decorative shapes to your card. Create at least one shape with a solid fill using colors from your custom swatch, one with a gradient fill using your custom gradient, and one using one of the preset Photoshop styles. (Take a screenshot once this task is complete.)

  5. Use one of the shapes to create and save a custom pattern. Open another document and apply the pattern. (Take a screenshot once this task is complete.)

Once you are done with all the tasks, save your Photoshop documents for review.
