 Welcome to MCSM Digital Photography Class (1 semester art credit)

In this course students will be able to learn basic DSLR camera operations. 

Try different techniques for capturing different photos.

students will also tell story through a series of photo-stories.

Google Photo album portfolios are required for assessment.

Marking period 1 - DSLR basics, review of art principles, and how camera works.

Marking period 2 - Explore DSLR camera in different modes.

                               AV or Aperture mode (f-stops) for portraits

                               TV mode for motion

                                Manual mode for maximum control of the photos captured.

Marking period 3- Learning from other master photographers through research.

                               Quick review of Photography history.

                               Individual presentation of photo works.

Materials:

Canon T-6 DSLR camera (school class set) & student bring their own SD card.
