most of you did good yesterday with the yellow sunflower.
1. What is the subject? (sunflower) which art element does it convey? (Color- yellow)
2. How is it lit? (it was brightly lit for the noon sun outside from top-down) what type of light do you see? (due to high intensity - it was hard light).
3. Where is the subject placed in the picture? (the flower was placed off-centered to the left 1/3 side). what composition do you see? rule of third.
4. How would you set the camera up for a similar shot? (ISO 100 - low because it was bright, aperture with blurry background - f/5.6 with large opening; fast shutter speed, shorter time at 1/250 sec because it was so bright; and lastly, focal length was zoomed in at 55mm).
5. What is the message you get from looking at the picture? (the bright and yellow color usually denotes happiness, vibrant and alive).
